SANCHIS PICTURE COLLECTION

Frank Sanchis' American Architecture: Westchester County, New York, has been the standard source for research on Westchester County architecture since it was published in 1977. For his research for the book, Mr. Sanchis took photographs and collected additional pictures and other information on more than 2000 buildings in Westchester. When his work was done, he donated his research files to the Westchester County Historical Society. These files contain much more information and many more pictures than were possible to publish in the book. They are available for research at the WCHS Library. A sample of the pictures in this collection are shown here.
